PsychromeTree is a MUST HAVE for HVAC Engineers and Technicians or anyone else that needs to calculate properties of moist air (in other words, deal with Psychrometric Analysis).
This app can be used to calculate:
- air mixes
- free cooling capacity
- required humidifier capacity
and much more.
All PsychromeTree needs from the user is the dry-bulb temperature and one of the following three parameters: wet-bulb temperature, relative humidity or dew point temperature. The altitude can also be specified but is not required.
Using these inputs PsychromeTree can calculate the resulting values for all of the following air properties:
- Dry-bulb temperature (DbT).
- Wet-bulb temperature (WbT).
- Dew point temperature (Td).
- Relative humidity (RH).
- Humidity ratio (W).
- Specific volume (v).
- Enthalpy (h).
- Atmospheric pressure (P).
To accomodate as many engineers and technicians as possible we have designed PsychromeTree to support both Imperial units (IP) and Standard International units (SI).
